Luxury in the Wild

Unique in the heli-skiing industry, our Heli Village allows guests to enjoy the best of the day's powder skiing and then return to their handcrafted log chalet; some guests are adamant the food alone is worth the trip. The year-round village has all the amenities of a luxury ski resort, in a location you won’t believe.

To watch the kids learn to ski powder was fantastic, even I was able to improve my skills, and the sound of my husband hollers of joy as he bounced down line after line of untracked powder was priceless.

Trond Henrikssen Testimonial Image at Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing in Blue River, BC, Canada

I just wanted to thank-you for the best skiing vacation I have ever had. Our family (ages 1½ -72) had a huge range of skiing/boarding experience, from the baby only able to ride in a backpack, to young beginning skiers, athletic pre-teen boarders, middle age powder fanatics and aging back country enthusiasts, yet Saddle Mountain thrilled us all. We all had so much fun. Everybody was able to safely ski the terrain they wanted. To watch the kids learn to ski powder was fantastic, even I was able to improve my skills, and the sound of my husband hollers of joy as he bounced down line after line of untracked powder was priceless. The icing on the cake was the family bonding in the warm cat ride back to the top (when the kids weren’t watching the DVD), around the fire at lunch, in the comfortable cabin at night and over the fantastic food in the dining room. I enjoyed this vacation thoroughly and can hardly wait to return!
