Kamloops to Blue River
There are several options to arrive in Blue River from Kamloops and we have established relationships with hotels in Kamloops, which entitle you to special corporate rates: view the Enroute Hotels.
Courtesy Shuttle (for 7-day packages only)
It takes approximately 2.5 hours to drive the 214 km (133 miles) from the Kamloops Airport to Blue River. Our Courtesy Shuttle hosts pick up guests on Saturday mornings at the following locations.

Private MWHS Helicopter
Guests may book a helicopter (Bell 212 for up to 10 guests or A Star for up to 4 guests). All flights subject to weather. Contact a reservations coordinator for details.
Private Plane to Valemount
Private Aircrafts can fly into Valemount Airport. https://valemount.ca/services/airport/
Valemount Airport is a ½ hr drive from the Albreda Lodge and 1hr drive from Blue River. Transfers to and from Valemount can be arranged through our reservations department.

Aircrafts entering Canada may clear customs in Kamloops, BC, daily from 8:30 am to midnight but may need an appointment.

Flying into Valemount is highly dependent on good weather and visibility. Valemount is in a mountainous area with constant weather changes. Pilots may encounter adverse conditions including wildlife, fog, clouds, rain, snow, wind, or an icy runway. We highly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance.
