Please take care when using the fireplace! The instructions are located beside the fireplace.

PLEASE REMEMBER CHECK-OUT TIME IS 8:30 AM

We would like to make your check out as easy and efficient as possible. Please review your bill and clarify any concerns at the Front Desk. Check-out on Friday evening is available to avoid Saturday morning rush.

Please bring your traveling clothes and bags over to the Fitness Centre change rooms so you may shower and freshen up after your morning ski.

Any personal items may be left at the Front Desk for security.

Wake-up calls can be activated from the Guest room telephone set or by dialing the Front Desk at extension “0”.

New Wake-up Call

1. Press the Wake-up button or dial “*90”
2. Listen for the recall dial tone (3 short tones followed by dial tone)
3. Enter your desired wake-up time using the 24-hour format (i.e. 0900 is 9:00 am and 2100 is 9:00 pm)
4. Listen for confirmation tone (3 short tones followed by silence)
5. Hang up

Repeat the above procedure. The old request will be overwritten with new request.

Cancel Wake-Up call

1. Press the Wake-up button or dial “*90”
2. You will hear the recall dial tone (3 short tones followed by dial tone)
3. Press the number “#” sign
4. Listen for confirmation tone (3 short tones followed by silence)
5. Hang up

Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing has been in operation for over 50 years. In 1988, the doors of the Main Lodge opened and ever since guests have been enjoying a touch of luxury in the mountains.

Fitness Centre, Sauna, and Whirlpool

Located downstairs in the Main Lodge, these facilities are open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm daily. There is no need to bring towels from your room, as we have extra for your use. Please note you must be 18 years of age or over to use these facilities, under this age you must be accompanied by an adult. No alcohol is permitted in the Fitness Centre including the hot tub and everyone is asked to shower before entering.

Computer Workstation

There are two PC terminals located on the upper floor of the Thunder Ridge Center. Wireless connection is also available throughout the resort. If you have trouble connecting, please contact the Front Desk by dialing “0”.

Courier Services

Please inquire at the Front Desk for assistance in sending and receiving packages.

Our Lady of Snow

If you require assistance adjusting your heat, please call the Front Desk by dialing “0”.

Please dial extension “4450” if you require assistance from the Housekeeping Department, or call “0” for the Front Desk. Everyday our housekeeping staff will ensure that your bed is made, your amenities refilled and that you have fresh towels. If you require anything extra, please dial “0” to speak with the Front Desk.

Irons

Irons are available in each chalet for your convenience. For assistance, please dial extension “4450” for the Housekeeping Department, or dial “0” for the Front Desk.

Laundry

Laundry bags and a price list are in the closet of your room. Please label the bags with your name and room number and leave it on your bed. Housekeeping will automatically take it in the morning. For immediate pick-up, dial the Front Desk at extension “0”.

Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing invites you to take part in helping to protect the planet. If you are willing to reuse your towels, please hang them on the towel racks. If you leave your towels in the bathtub, we will change them.

Our dining room staff would be pleased to help you with this request. Dial extension “4489” or simply dial “0” for the Front Desk.

Our Front Desk staff will assist you with any lost or found items.

The Silver Buckle Lounge is located on the main floor of the lodge. Dial extension “4435”. The hours of operation are:

The front desk will hold or forward mail as requested. Postage rates will vary: please enquire at the Front Desk extension “0”.

Incorporating massage into your winter wellness regimen will boost your muscle performance and help keep you healthy and injury free. The massage Department is located downstairs in the Main Lodge and is open Sunday to Friday. Our Registered Massage Therapists offer both 25 minutes and 50-minute Massage Treatments. To book an appointment, please speak with either the Fitness Centre Desk at extension “4441” or dial “0” for the Front Desk. 

Stretch classes are vital in increasing your range of motion on the mountains and decreasing muscle soreness after the physical exercise experienced while skiing and snowboarding. Stretch classes are offered before and after skiing. For times, please inquire with the Fitness Center Desk at extension “4441” or the Front Desk at extension “0”. Due to Covid, we ask that guests sign up the night before, for the next mornings stretch class, because there are limited spots available.

At Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, pets are welcome. A flat fee of $25:00 will be applied to your account to cover the cleaning of all fabrics and carpets after your departure, so the room is welcoming for future guests as it was when you arrived. You pet must be on a leash or in a carrier when in public areas of the Resort. Pets are not permitted in the Main Lodge or Administration Buildings. Noise must be kept to a minimum. Penalties may be applied if other guests are disturbed. Pets must be house-trained and clean. Additional cleaning charges may apply if pets create an excessive mess. Please be sure to pick up after your pet (please check with the front desk if bags are needed, extension “0”.

A pop machine is located downstairs of the main Lodge, near the entrance of the Games Room in the hallway left of the Massage Rooms.

As a valued Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing guest, we give you priority to re-book your week for next season. Please call either 4495 or 4417 to learn about our re-booking incentives from one of our Guest Relations representatives. Guest Relations may be contacted before and after skiing at the Guest Relations office in the Main Lodge. Alternatively they may be contacted through the Front Desk extension “0”.

The Sport Shop provides guests with state-of-the-art powder skis and snowboards designed for use in Wiegele terrain. Expert technicians tune your equipment nightly and then deliver your skis/board to your helicopter pad each morning as a value-added service. Our Ski and Rental Shop is open every day from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. They can be reached by dialing extension “4412” or “4413”.

To make an outside call from your room dial “9”, wait for the dial tone and then proceed with the number. Please note long distant charges apply. All local calls are free.

If you have a message, the light on your phone will flash. To retrieve messages from your mailbox dial “6000” and follow the instructions given.

Please dial “2004” from your chalet phones to get the most current weather and ski report.

Some of the chalets do have safes and the Front Desk would be more than happy to store your valuables during your stay with us. Please inquire at the Front Desk for further information.

Please do not leave your key in the door. Keys left in your door will be returned to front desk. Please be advised that your exterior doors will lock behind you.

Blue River’s pristine wilderness offers much more than Heli-skiing. There are many activities you can do around the resort and the surrounding areas. Please speak with your guide or the Sports Shop to arrange any of the following:
